By applying an array of modern web development techniques, our team of physicians, designers and engineers have automated a traditional paper-and-pencil regulatory process that medical staff offices already had been using throughout the US to allow providers to claim AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ for visiting peer-reviewed sites in the process of caring for patients.
In this quick start tutorial, we’ll show you the login button on our homepage, how to install the Orbit plugin in Google Chrome, and how to redeem credits by staying logged into the plugin while browsing:
About the credits you earn in Orbit
The credits you earn from Orbit on shift are AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ certified by Tufts University School of Medicine.
- If you’re an MD or DO, the credits you earn with Orbit are recognized by every state board in the USA, and by all national ABMS boards.
- If you’re a PA, our credits are recognized by the NCCPA and every state board in the USA.
- If you’re a nurse in California, Orbit is recognized for CE by the California BRN. When reporting your credits, use our BRN CEP# 16946.
- If you’re a nurse in another state, the CE you earn through Orbit is recognized by these nursing boards: AL, AK, DE, IL, MI, MN, NE, ND, OH, OR, PA, SC, UT, Washington DC.
